Salvia sclera

This essential oil is produced by steam distillation of the freshly harvested flowering tops.
 
Clary sage has an effect on the pituitary gland and therefore useful in balancing a variety of menstrual problems.
 
Clary sage is a highly euphoric oil and useful in treating mild depression.
 
Care must be taken as its euphoric effect can be quite strong on particularly sensitive individuals and it should not be combined with alcohol.
 
Blends well with lime, neroli, jasmine, patchouli, & bergamot.
 
Caution: Not to be taken. Not for medicinal use. Keep away from children. Avoid direct light & painted surfaces. Store below 30 degrees celcius. Do not use undiluted.
